OVERVIEW
Embodied Silence
"Whispers of Stone" is a site-specific installation that explores the concept of *Ma*—the space between presence and absence. The work utilizes reclaimed granite and marble, carved into soft, fluid forms that contrast with the inherent rigidity of the medium.
CHALLENGE
Translating the weight of monolithic stone into a visual language of lightness and breath, while maintaining structural integrity in a public space.
APPROACH
A process of subtractive sculpture combined with 3D scanning to achieve mathematical precision in organic curvature and balance.
"Design is not the creation of an object, but the orchestration of the void it leaves behind. When the stone speaks, it is the silence around it that we truly hear."
- JUNHO PARK, FINE ARTIST
Perspective A
The interplay of natural daylight and artificial focus creates a rhythmic pattern across the gallery floor.

Space Between
The installation is arranged to guide the viewer's path, forcing a slow, meditative movement through the room. Each stone serves as a focal point, yet the true subject is the tension held in the air between them.
